Frequently Asked Questions

Can we visit Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur in one day?

Yes, this is our most popular combo. It takes about 10 hours. We suggest visiting Ranakpur Temple in the morning (open for tourists after 12:00 PM, but earlier slots available for prayer) and then heading to Kumbhalgarh Fort in the afternoon for the best views.

How much time is needed for Chittorgarh Fort?

Chittorgarh is massive. We recommend setting aside at least 3 to 4 hours just to explore the fort complex properly. Including the drive from Udaipur (2 hours one way), it is a full-day trip.

Are the day trips available year-round?

Yes. However, during the monsoon (July-September), the Aravalli hills are lush green and incredibly beautiful, making it the best time for Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur. Summers can be hot, so early starts are recommended.

Is there a dress code for the temples?

Yes. For Nathdwara and Eklingji, traditional modest clothing is recommended. For Ranakpur, it is strict: no sleeveless tops, no shorts, and no leather items (belts, wallets) are allowed inside. You must dress conservatively.

Do you offer drop-off at Udaipur Airport after the trip?

Yes. If you have an evening flight, we can pick you up from your hotel, take you for the day trip (e.g., to Chittorgarh or Nathdwara), and drop you directly at the Udaipur Airport to save you time and taxi fare.

Is the drive to Kumbhalgarh safe for those with motion sickness?

The road is winding, but very scenic. Our drivers are trained to drive slowly and smoothly on curves to minimize discomfort. We recommend taking a front seat and looking at the horizon if you are sensitive to winding roads.
