Timeline & Itinerary
06:00 AM: The Morning Drive
Your private chauffeur arrives at your hotel or residence in Jaipur. Settle into your clean, air-conditioned car as we leave the Pink City behind. Watch the sunrise over the Aravalli hills as we hit the smooth National Highway (NH-21). We can pause for a hot Masala Chai or coffee at a highway midway whenever you like.
10:30 AM: The Taj Mahal Experience
Welcome to Agra! Your English-speaking guide meets you here. We head straight to the Taj Mahal. Skip the chaos with our guide’s assistance and enter the complex. Spend the next two hours walking through the Charbagh gardens, admiring the perfect symmetry of the white marble, and capturing that once-in-a-lifetime photo on the “Diana Bench.”
01:00 PM: A Mughlai Feast (Lunch)
After the morning walk, we take a break at a top-rated AC restaurant. Agra is famous for its Mughlai Cuisine. You can savor rich curries, soft naan breads, and kebabs (Direct Payment). If you prefer continental or lighter food, just let your driver know—we know the best spots!
02:00 PM: The Red Sandstone Fort
Refreshed from lunch, we visit the massive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience) and the beautiful pearl mosque. Your guide will show you the exact balcony where Emperor Shah Jahan was imprisoned, gazing out at the Taj Mahal for the last years of his life.
03:30 PM: The Jewel Box (Baby Taj)
Before leaving, we visit the exquisite Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Baby Taj.” Unlike the massive forts, this tomb is delicate, looking like a jewel box with its intricate marble lattice screens. It is peaceful, less crowded, and perfect for a quiet walk by the Yamuna River.
04:30 PM: The Return Journey
With a camera full of photos and a heart full of memories, we begin the drive back to Jaipur. Relax in the back seat, review your pictures, or take a nap as your driver navigates the highway safely.
09:00 PM: Doorstep Drop-off
We arrive back in Jaipur. We drop you right at your hotel doorstep or the airport, marking the end of a wonderful day trip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the drive from Jaipur to Agra comfortable?
Yes. The road (NH-21) is a 4-lane national highway in excellent condition. It is a smooth ride. We also use well-maintained vehicles with good suspension to ensure you are not tired.
What if we want to leave later than 6:00 AM?
This is a private tour, so the timing is flexible. You can start at 7:00 or 8:00 AM, but please note that you will return to Jaipur later at night (around 11:00 PM).
Is the Taj Mahal open every day?
No. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. If your free day is a Friday, we can offer a tour of Agra Fort, Baby Taj, and Fatehpur Sikri instead.
Can we stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way?
Yes, absolutely. Fatehpur Sikri is on the route. However, visiting it takes about 1.5 hours, so we may have to skip the Baby Taj in Agra to keep the schedule on time.
Are there hidden costs?
No. The price quoted for the car is final. The only extra money you need is for your entry tickets, food, and any shopping you choose to do.
Can you drop us in Delhi instead of returning to Jaipur?
Yes! This is a very popular option. We can pick you up in Jaipur, show you the Taj Mahal in Agra, and then drive you to Delhi (via Yamuna Expressway) to drop you at your hotel or airport there. (Small extra fuel charge may apply).
