Company Policy - Heritage Rajasthan Tours


At Heritage Rajasthan Tours, we believe in clear communication to ensure your journey is smooth and enjoyable. Please take a moment to review our company policies regarding bookings, liabilities, cancellations, and other important details.


A. Booking Your Trip

  1. Advance Payment: To confirm your hotel, tour, and transportation services with Heritage Rajasthan Tours, we require 100% advance payment before your trip begins.
  2. No Interest on Deposits: Please note that we do not pay any interest on any advance payments or deposits you make.

B. Our Commitment & Your Protection

  1. Our Role: Heritage Rajasthan Tours acts as your dedicated Travel Agent and Holiday Organizer. We arrange services on your behalf, working with various hotels, airlines, railways, and other service providers to secure the best arrangements for you.
  2. What We Don’t Control: We do not own or directly operate hotels, airlines, railways, or other services. While we always strive to recommend and arrange the best services, we cannot be held responsible for the direct performance of these third-party providers.
  3. Limitations of Liability: We cannot accept responsibility for any dissatisfaction, delays, accidents, injuries, loss of life, loss of property or baggage, flight/train delays, reservation issues, transportation problems, cancellations, or any other unexpected events or irregularities. This also includes consequences arising from natural disasters, strikes, equipment breakdowns, or actions/omissions by others.
  4. No Claims Against Us: By booking with us, you agree not to bring any claims against Heritage Rajasthan Tours, our employees, directors, or partners for issues beyond our direct control as an agent.
  5. Reporting Issues: Any claim or complaint you have must be submitted in writing to our Office in Jaipur, Rajasthan, within 7 (seven) days after your tour ends. We regret that no claims can be entertained after this period.
  6. Our Liability Limit: Our responsibility to you is limited to the amount that we are reimbursed by the hotel, airline, tour operator, or other involved agencies. In any case, our total liability will not exceed the amount we received from you for the specific services in question.
  7. Legal Jurisdiction: In case of any claim or dispute, the Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, will have exclusive jurisdiction.

C. Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply based on the number of days prior to your arrival date:

  • 45 days or more prior: 10% of the total tour cost
  • 30 – 44 days prior: 25% of the total tour cost
  • 15 – 29 days prior: 50% of the total tour cost
  • Within 10 days of arrival or “No Show”: 100% of the total tour cost

D. Refunds

  1. Unused Services: No refunds will be made for any services that are unutilized or only partially utilized, regardless of the reason (e.g., unused rooms, meals, activities).
  2. Refund Processing: Any eligible refund due to a cancellation or changes will be processed within a minimum of 30 days from the date the refund is agreed upon.

E. Changes to Your Booking (Amendments)

Once a booking is confirmed, it is generally difficult to make changes. However, if you need to amend your booking, an amendment fee of Rs. 1000 minimum per change will apply. Please note, significant amendments might be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.


F. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

For your peace of mind and protection against unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at your own cost. This should cover risks such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other potential travel disruptions.


G. Important General Policies

  1. Compliance: All tours and services are subject to the rules and regulations of Heritage Rajasthan Tours, the Government of India, the Reserve Bank of India, and other applicable laws.
  2. Accommodation Changes: If your specified hotel is unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will do our best to find an alternative hotel of equal or similar standard. No complaints or claims will be entertained in this regard.
  3. Our Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel a tour before the departure date. In such a rare event, we will only be liable to refund the amount you have paid to us, without any interest.
  4. Child with Extra Bed: A child requiring an extra bed will be considered and charged as an adult.
  5. Voucher Specificity: Only services explicitly mentioned in the voucher/s issued by Heritage Rajasthan Tours will be provided.
  6. Rate Changes: Please note that published rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  7. Information Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy in all our communications and on our website, we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions.
  8. Exchange Rates: Applicable exchange rates will be as per the prevailing rates at the time of transaction.
