Why we curated this specific route?

“The Painted Route to Rajasthan.”

Most travelers drive straight from Delhi to Jaipur on the busy highway, completely missing the hidden artistic treasures of the Shekhawati region. We curated this specific route to take you off the main road and into Mandawa, famously known as the world’s largest open-air art gallery.

Instead of a standard straight drive, this journey blends the massive Mughal history of Delhi with the beautifully painted merchant homes of Mandawa, before ending in the royal splendor of Jaipur. This unique approach gives you a much richer cultural experience and breaks the long drive perfectly.

In contrast, the afternoon is dedicated to New Delhi, a city of wide boulevards. We drive past the President’s House and India Gate, ending the day at the ancient Qutub Minar and the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I start this tour in Jaipur and end in Delhi?

Yes. We can reverse the route: Jaipur ➝ Agra ➝ Delhi. This works great if you are landing in Jaipur.

Can we add a Tiger Safari?

Yes! We can add Ranthambhore National Park between Agra and Jaipur. This turns it into the "07 Days Golden Triangle with Tigers" tour.

What clothes should we wear?

Conservative clothing is recommended, especially for temples (Akshardham, Jama Masjid). Shoulders and knees should be covered. Comfortable walking shoes are a must for the forts.

Is it safe to drive from Jaipur to Delhi for a night flight?

Yes, but we recommend keeping a 6-hour buffer. The highway is good, but traffic entering Delhi can be unpredictable. If your flight is at 10 PM or later, driving back on the same day is fine.

Are the guides necessary?

In the Golden Triangle, yes. The history is deep. A guide helps you navigate the massive forts, skip the lines, and avoid touts. We provide government-approved guides only.

Is Akshardham open every day?

No. Akshardham Temple is closed on Mondays. If your Day 1 falls on a Monday, we will shift this visit to another time or swap it with another monument.
