We made this route for travelers who want to start in Rajasthan and end near Delhi without going back and forth. You start in the colorful city of Jaipur. Then, to break up the city tours, we take you to the green forests of Ranthambore for wildlife safaris. Finally, you end your trip with the world-famous Taj Mahal in Agra. It is a very easy and fun way to travel.

The Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to the Pink City | Arrival & Modern Sights

  • Drive: Airport pick-up + Local Sightseeing.

  • Stay: Overnight in Jaipur.

Welcome to Jaipur! Our driver will meet you at the airport or train station and take you to your hotel to rest. In the evening, we visit the modern and beautiful places in Jaipur. We see the Albert Hall Museum and the Statue Circle. Then, we find some peace at the white marble Birla Mandir. We end the day at Patrika Gate, a very colorful place with beautiful art on the walls. It is great for photos.

Day 02: Forts & Palaces | The Full Jaipur Experience

  • Drive: Local Sightseeing.

  • Stay: Overnight in Jaipur.

After breakfast, we explore the history of Jaipur. We start at the big Amber Fort on the hill. You will see beautiful mirror work inside. On the way back, we stop to take photos of Jal Mahal, the water palace in the middle of a lake. In the afternoon, we visit the City Palace where the royal family still lives. We also see the Jantar Mantar stone observatory and the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). We end the day walking in the local bazaars. Day Highlights:

Day 03: Into the Forest | Jaipur to Ranthambhore

  • Drive: 160 km | 3-4 Hours.

  • Stay: Overnight in Ranthambore.

We leave the city after breakfast and drive to Ranthambore. We arrive by the afternoon and check into your hotel. After lunch and some rest, we go for your first Jungle Safari in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. We will look for tigers, deer, and other wild animals in the open valleys and dry forest.

Day 04: The Ghost City | Ranthambhore to Agra

  • Drive: Morning Safari + 260 km to Agra (5-6 Hours).

  • Stay: Overnight in Agra.

Wake up early for a Morning Jungle Safari. The early morning is the best time to see wildlife moving around. After the safari, we return to the hotel for breakfast. Then we pack our bags and drive to Agra. On the way, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri. This is an old Mughal capital made of red stone. We walk through its big courtyards. We reach Agra by the evening and check into the hotel.

  • Explore the red stone city of Fatehpur Sikri.

  • Arrival in Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal.

Day 05: The Monument of Love | Agra Sightseeing

  • Drive: Local Sightseeing.

  • Stay: Overnight in Agra.

Today, we explore Agra. We visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. Your guide will show you its perfect design and beautiful marble work. Next, we go to the massive Agra Fort, where the Mughal kings lived. Later, we visit the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah), a small but very beautiful tomb with fine marble art.

  • Explore the big walls of Agra Fort.

  • Visit the detailed Baby Taj.

Day 06: Farewell | Departure from Agra or Delhi

  • Drive: Station Drop OR Drive to Delhi (210 km / 3-4 Hours).

After breakfast, your 6-day tour comes to an end. Option 1: We can drop you at the Agra Railway Station for your next train. Option 2: We can drive you to the Delhi International Airport (about 3.5 hours on the fast highway) for your flight home. You leave with wonderful memories of royal cities, wildlife, and the Taj Mahal.

Can we end this tour in Delhi?

Yes. On Day 6, we can drive you from Agra straight to the Delhi airport. The drive takes about 3 to 4 hours on a very fast and smooth highway.

What is a Canter Safari?

A Canter is a big, open-top bus that holds 20 people. It is included in the tour price. If you want a smaller, private vehicle, we can book a 6-seater open Jeep for an extra cost.

What clothes should we wear for the safari?

Please wear simple colors like brown, green, or dark yellow. Do not wear bright colors. In winter (November to February), the mornings are very cold, so bring a warm jacket and hat.

Will we definitely see a tiger?

Ranthambore has many tigers. However, they are wild animals, so we cannot promise 100% that you will see one. It depends on luck and nature. But the forest itself is very beautiful.

Is the drive from Jaipur to Ranthambore long?

No, it is a comfortable drive. It takes about 3 to 4 hours. You will reach in time to rest and have lunch before your afternoon safari.
