Why we curated this specific route?

“The Pure Rajasthan Experience.”

Many travelers feel exhausted by the traffic of Delhi and the crowds of Agra. This itinerary is the antidote. It starts and ends within Rajasthan, ensuring every moment is spent soaking in the culture of the desert state.

We designed this “South-West Flow” to give you a perfect gradient of landscapes: from the semi-arid hills of Jaipur to the stark desert of Jodhpur, and finally to the lush green valleys and lakes of Udaipur. It connects the three most distinct cultural regions (Dhundhar, Marwar, and Mewar) in one effortless loop.

Famous for its 1,444 marble pillars, no two of which are carved the same. The silence and craftsmanship here are mesmerizing. We reach Udaipur by afternoon. In the evening, we take you for a Boat Ride on Lake Pichola. Watching the sun set behind the hills while gliding past the Lake Palace is pure magic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we do this tour in reverse (Udaipur to Jaipur)?

Yes. The route works perfectly in reverse: Udaipur ➝ Ranakpur ➝ Jodhpur ➝ Pushkar ➝ Jaipur. This is a great option if flights to Udaipur are cheaper for your dates.

Can we add Jaisalmer to this trip?

To add Jaisalmer comfortably, you need at least 2 more days (Total 9 Days). Jaisalmer is 5 hours further west from Jodhpur. We have a separate "9 Days Complete Rajasthan" package for that.

Is this tour suitable for seniors?

Yes. The pace is relaxed (2 nights per city). However, Mehrangarh Fort (Jodhpur) and Amber Fort (Jaipur) involve some walking on slopes. We can arrange elevators (at Mehrangarh) or Jeeps (at Amber) to minimize walking.

Is the drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur tiring?

It is a 6-7 hour drive, which is why we break it up with stops in Ajmer and Pushkar. By the time you finish sightseeing in Pushkar, you only have about 4 hours left to Jodhpur.

Are the boat rides available year-round?

Yes, usually. However, if the water level in Lake Pichola drops significantly during a very dry summer (rare), the boats may not operate. In that case, we will arrange an alternative sunset point visit.

What is the best time to visit?

October to March is perfect. Winters are sunny and pleasant. April to June is hot, but hotels offer great off-season discounts during this time.
