Trip Overview
Butati Dham is a place that defies medical explanation. Located near Kuchera in the Nagaur district, this humble temple is the Samadhi Sthal of Sant Chaturdas Ji Maharaj, a great Siddha Yogi born roughly 500 years ago. Legend—and thousands of modern testimonies—says that the vibration of this land has the power to cure paralysis (Lakwa).
On this tour, you will leave the Blue City and drive into the rural heart of Rajasthan. You will witness a sight that will move you to tears: families supporting their loved ones as they perform the Parikrama (circumambulation), fueled only by hope and faith. On the return leg, we stop at Merta City, the birthplace of Meera Bai, to visit the temple where she first fell in love with Lord Krishna. It is a day of deep emotional and spiritual healing.
Trip Highlights
What makes this day trip unforgettable.
✅ Sant Chaturdas Ji Samadhi: Have Darshan at the main shrine. The energy here is palpable. Watch the sacred ritual where devotees take vows for the recovery of their loved ones.
✅ The Parikrama of Hope: Witness the unique sight of the 7 Parikramas. It is believed that walking around the Samadhi 7 times helps in the gradual recovery of motor skills for paralysis patients.
✅ Bhabhuti (Holy Ash): Receive the sacred ash from the Dhuni (eternal fire) that has been burning for centuries. It is applied to the affected body parts of patients.
✅ Meera Bai Temple (Merta): Visit the Charbhuja Nath Temple in Merta City. This is where the princess Meera spent her childhood singing to Krishna. The architecture is a stunning mix of Rajput and Mughal styles.
✅ Rural Rajasthan: The drive takes you through the raw, untouched villages of Marwar, where peacocks roam the fields and life moves at a slower pace.

No. Butati Dham works purely on faith and the spiritual vibration of the Samadhi. There are no medical doctors or medicines prescribed here.
Can we stay overnight if we change our mind?
Yes. The temple trust runs a massive Dharamshala (Guest House) that provides free rooms/halls for patients. However, basic amenities are provided, not luxury.
What is the story of the "Jharia"?
Devotees perform the ritual of "Jharia" where they offer water to the holy Tulsi plant and the Samadhi, believing it washes away bad karma and illness.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The entire temple complex is ground-level and designed to accommodate patients on wheelchairs and stretchers.
How far is Merta from Butati?
It is very close—approx 35-40 km (45 minutes). That is why we combine both in one trip.
