Trip Overview
Badagaon, located near Baghpat, is a site of immense archaeological and spiritual wonder. It is famous for two things: the Ancient Parshwanath Temple and the modern Trilok Teerth Dham.
Legend says that a local mound (Tila) here held hidden Jain idols. When excavated, a beautiful ancient idol of Lord Parshwanath was discovered, which is now the center of faith. Next to it stands the Trilok Teerth, a massive temple structure designed like the Jain symbol of the Universe (Adhalok, Madhyalok, and Urdhvalok). On this short day trip, you will explore underground caves, climb to the heavens (architecturally), and bow before the colossal 31-foot tall idol of Lord Rishabhdev.
