Trip Overview
Tijara is the most popular Jain pilgrimage destination for families living in Delhi NCR. Known formally as Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra, this temple is famous for a miraculous event in 1956. A local resident dreamt of an idol underground, and upon excavation, a pristine white marble idol of Lord Chandraprabhu (the 8th Tirthankar) was found.
Today, the temple complex is a sprawling sanctuary of peace. The main idol is believed to grant wishes (Manokamna Purna). On this tour, you will escape the city traffic, drive through the industrial hub of Bhiwadi, and enter a zone of total silence and devotion. It is the perfect short trip for elderly parents and children.
