Trip Overview
Hastinapur is not just a destination; it is the spiritual capital of the Jain faith. It holds the unique honor of being the birthplace (Kalyanak Kshetra) of three Tirthankaras: Shri Shantinath, Shri Kunthunath, and Shri Arahnath.
Thanks to the new Delhi-Meerut Expressway, what used to be a tiring 5-hour journey is now a smooth 2-hour breeze. On this day trip, you will travel from the chaos of Delhi to the supreme silence of Hastinapur. You will marvel at Jambudweep—a massive outdoor model of the Jain Universe—climb the man-made Kailash Parvat, and bow at the spot where the first Ahaar Daan (Sugarcane Juice offering) was given to Lord Rishabhdev, starting the tradition of Akshaya Tritiya.
Trip Highlights
What makes this day trip unforgettable.

✅ The Birthplace: Visit the Digambar Jain Bada Mandir, the oldest temple built on a high mound, marking the exact birthplace of the Tirthankaras.
✅ Kailash Parvat: Climb the 131-foot high structure dedicated to Lord Rishabhdev. The view of the green fields and the Ganga canal from the top is breathtaking.
✅ Lotus Temple: Step inside the Kamal Mandir, a beautiful temple shaped exactly like a blooming lotus flower.
✅ The Expressway Drive: Experience the joy of driving on India’s widest expressway (14 lanes!), cutting through the lush sugarcane fields of Western UP.
Timeline & Itinerary
07:00 AM: The Expressway Glide
Your private chauffeur arrives at your hotel in Delhi/NCR. We hit the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NE-3). It feels like taking off on a runway. Watch the urban jungle disappear and be replaced by the rich, green sugarcane belt of Meerut.
09:30 AM: Arrival at the Holy Land
We arrive in Hastinapur. The skyline is dominated by massive temple spires (Shikhars). The town is quiet, ancient, and peaceful. We head straight to the Jambudweep Complex.
10:00 AM: Jambudweep & Sumeru Parvat
Walk through the Jambudweep campus. It is a lesson in geography and spirituality. See the Sumeru Parvat (Golden Mountain) standing 101 feet tall. Explore the Teen Lok structure which depicts the heavens, earth, and hell as per Jain scriptures.
11:30 AM: The Old Temple (Bada Mandir)
We drive to the Digambar Jain Bada Mandir. This is the main pilgrimage spot. The temple stands on a 40-foot high hillock. The main altar is majestic, and the atmosphere in the meditation hall is intensely silent.
12:30 PM: Satvik Lunch
Hastinapur is famous for its clean, pure food. We stop at the Temple Bhojanalaya or a clean local guest house. Enjoy a simple, Satvik meal (No onion/garlic) that nourishes the body and soul. (Lunch is Direct Payment/Donation).
01:30 PM: The Kailash Climb
After lunch, we visit the Kailash Parvat structure. You can climb the stairs (or use the ramp/elevator if operational) to reach the top sanctum. It replicates the site of Lord Rishabhdev’s Nirvana. The cool breeze at the top is refreshing.
02:30 PM: Lotus Temple & Ashtapad
Before leaving, we visit the Lotus Temple (Kamal Mandir). Its unique red petals open up to the sky. It is a photographer’s delight. We also pay respects at the Ashtapad temple nearby.
04:00 PM: The Return Drive
Spiritual batteries recharged, we get back into the car. The drive back to Delhi on the expressway is fast and smooth.
06:30 PM: Doorstep Drop-off
We arrive back in Delhi. We drop you right at your hotel or residence, completing a journey of faith and geometry.
