Your private chauffeur arrives at your hotel or residence in Jaipur. Settle into your clean, air-conditioned car as we leave the city behind. Watch the landscape change from urban chaos to the rugged beauty of the Aravalli hills as we cruise down the 6-lane NH-48. We can pause for a hot Masala Chai at a highway midway to wake you up.
10:30 AM: The Sufi Shrine (Ajmer Dargah)
We arrive in the bustling city of Ajmer. Immerse yourself in the spiritual energy of the Dargah Sharif. Walk through the colorful bazaar filled with the scent of roses and incense. Carry a Chadar (offering) and seek blessings at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, a place of peace revered by kings and commoners alike for centuries.
12:00 PM: The Ancient Ruins (Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra)
Just a short walk from the Dargah lies an architectural marvel—Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra. Legend says it was built in just two-and-a-half days. Admire the towering arched screens and the intricate calligraphy on the pillars of this Indo-Islamic masterpiece.
01:00 PM: A Royal Lunch
Ajmer offers excellent traditional food. You can enjoy a rich Mughlai lunch at a local restaurant. Alternatively, if you prefer pure vegetarian food, we can drive straight to Pushkar for a satvik meal. (Lunch is Direct Payment).
02:30 PM: The Mountain Pass
We leave the busy streets of Ajmer and drive over the winding Nag Pahar (Snake Mountain). The drive is scenic and short, but it transports you to a completely different world. As you descend into the Pushkar valley, you will feel the vibe shift from chaotic to calm.
03:00 PM: The Creator’s Temple
Welcome to Pushkar! We visit the Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, the most famous temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the Creator of the Universe. Marvel at the red spire and the silver coin-studded floor of this rare temple.
04:00 PM: The Holy Lake
We end our sightseeing at the sacred Pushkar Lake. Surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and hundreds of milky-blue temples, this is the heart of the town. Sit on the steps, watch the pilgrims take a holy dip, or witness the evening prayers as the sun begins to set over the water.
05:30 PM: The Return Drive
With a peaceful mind and beautiful photos, we begin the drive back to Jaipur. Relax in the back seat, review your pictures, or take a nap as your driver navigates the highway safely.
