Why We Curated This Specific Route

This itinerary is for travelers who want to go beyond the standard monuments. It combines the three most exciting elements of Rajasthan: Palaces, Paranormal Legends, and Predators.

  • The Double Tiger Chance: By visiting both Sariska and Ranthambhore, you maximize your chances of spotting a tiger. Plus, you experience two very different forest landscapes (mountainous vs. dry deciduous).

  • The “Haunted” Detour: The drive from Sariska to Ranthambhore isn’t just a transfer; it’s an adventure. We include a stop at Bhangarh Fort, legally recognized as the most haunted place in India, and the engineering marvel of Chand Baori Stepwell.

  • The Complete Jaipur: You don’t miss out on the capital. We give you two full days to explore the Pink City’s forts and modern marvels like Patrika Gate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why a Gypsy in Sariska and Canter in Ranthambhore?

Sariska has rocky terrain where a small 4x4 Gypsy is better. Ranthambhore has wider tracks, and Canters (20-seater buses) offer good height for visibility. You can upgrade the Ranthambhore safari to a Gypsy for an extra cost (subject to availability).

Can we skip Bhangarh?

Yes, if you are not interested or traveling with small children who might get scared/tired, we can drive directly to Ranthambhore via the highway.

Can we return to Jaipur instead of Sawai Madhopur station?

Yes, we can drive you back to Jaipur (approx. 3.5 hours) on Day 5 after the safari to catch a flight/train from there.

Is Bhangarh really haunted?

Locals believe so! The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has put up a board banning entry after sunset. While we can't promise ghosts, the ruins are undeniably atmospheric and spooky.

What are the chances of seeing a tiger?

Ranthambhore has a higher tiger density, so chances are very good there. Sariska sightings are becoming more frequent, but leopards are more common there. Visiting both parks gives you the best odds!

How long is the drive on Day 4?

It is a long but interesting day. Sariska to Bhangarh is 1 hour. Bhangarh to Abhaneri is 1.5 hours. Abhaneri to Ranthambhore is 3 hours. Total driving is around 5-6 hours excluding stops.
