Why We Curated This Specific Route
This is the classic “Taj & Tiger” package. We designed this for travelers who want to tick off India’s two biggest attractions—The Taj Mahal and the Bengal Tiger—in a single, efficient trip.
The Sunrise Advantage: We prioritize the Sunrise Visit to the Taj Mahal. Not only is the light better for photos, but the crowds are thinner, making the experience far more peaceful.
Double the Luck: Wildlife sightings are unpredictable. By including two safaris (Morning & Afternoon) on Day 3, we statistically double your chances of spotting a tiger compared to a single-safari trip.
Seamless Connectivity: We handle the long transfer between Agra and Ranthambhore (approx. 6 hours) with a comfortable private vehicle, ensuring you arrive rested and ready for the jungle.
The Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi to Agra | The Mughal Legacy
Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your home, hotel, or airport in Delhi. We drive via the Yamuna Expressway to Agra (approx. 3.5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up.
In the afternoon, we explore the massive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site that served as the seat of the Mughal Empire for generations. Next, we visit the exquisite Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), famous for its delicate marble inlay work. The evening is free for you to explore the local bazaars or buy the famous “Petha” sweets.
Day Highlights:
Smooth drive from Delhi to Agra.
Explore the massive Agra Fort.
Visit the intricate Baby Taj.
Shopping for marble handicrafts.
Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 02: The World Wonder & Drive to the Jungle
We wake up before dawn for the highlight of the trip: The Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Watch the marble change color from soft pink to dazzling white as the sun rises. It is a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. We then check out and begin the drive to Ranthambhore (approx. 5-6 hours). Watch the landscape change from the plains of UP to the rugged hills of Rajasthan. We arrive at your wildlife resort by evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the resort and rest early for the safari tomorrow.
Day Highlights:
Bucket List: Sunrise Guided Tour of Taj Mahal.
Scenic drive from Agra to Ranthambhore.
Check-in to Wildlife Resort.
Dinner: Buffet Dinner at the resort.
Day 03: The Double Safari | Chasing the Stripes
Today is dedicated to the Tiger. We start early with a Morning Jungle Safari. Climb into your Canter (Open Safari Bus) and enter the reserve. As the mist clears, keep an eye out for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and crocodiles.
Return to the resort for breakfast and some downtime by the pool. In the afternoon, we head back into the jungle for the Evening Safari. The forest looks completely different in the golden light of sunset. Return to the resort for dinner and share your stories around the bonfire.
Day Highlights:
Safari 1: Morning Jungle Safari by Canter.
Safari 2: Afternoon Jungle Safari by Canter.
Spotting Tigers, Deer, and exotic birds.
Breakfast & Dinner at the resort.
Day 04: Farewell to the Wild
After a relaxed breakfast at the resort, we check out. We transfer you to the Sawai Madhopur Railway Station (just 15 mins away). From here, you can take a train to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, or Jaipur for your onward journey.
Day Highlights:
Relaxed morning breakfast.
Assisted drop-off at Railway Station.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we stop at Fatehpur Sikri?
Yes! On Day 2, Fatehpur Sikri is on the way to Ranthambhore. We can stop there for 1-2 hours. However, this will delay your arrival at the resort in Ranthambhore.
How do we get back to Delhi?
The easiest way is by train from Sawai Madhopur (SWM). There are fast trains like the Kota Jan Shatabdi or August Kranti Rajdhani that reach Delhi in 4-5 hours. We can help you book these tickets.
What are the chances of seeing a tiger?
Ranthambhore is one of the best places in the world to see wild tigers. With two safaris, your chances are very high, but remember—they are wild animals, and sightings are never guaranteed!
What is a "Canter"?
A Canter is an open-top safari bus that seats 20 people. It offers good visibility due to its height. If you prefer a private 6-seater Jeep (Gypsy), let us know in advance (costs extra and sells out fast).
Is the drive from Agra to Ranthambhore good?
The road is decent but can be bumpy in patches as you enter rural Rajasthan. It takes about 5 to 6 hours depending on traffic and stops.
Can we visit the Ranthambhore Fort?
Yes, if you skip one safari or are willing to do a very active day, you can visit the Fort. However, with two safaris scheduled on Day 3, it might be too tiring. We recommend sticking to the safaris for the best wildlife experience.
