Why We Curated This Specific Route

Ranthambhore is more than just a forest; it is a heritage jungle. We designed this 2-day trip to ensure you experience both the wildlife and the legendary history that makes this park unique.

  • The “Jungle Fort”: Most tourists just come for the tiger. We take you to the Ranthambhore Fort (a UNESCO Site) located inside the park. The view of the jungle from its ramparts is the best in Rajasthan.

  • Spiritual Connection: We include a visit to the Trinetra Ganesh Temple. It is not just a temple; it is a pilgrimage site where locals send the first wedding invitation card to Lord Ganesha.

  • Pre-Booked Access: Safari tickets sell out months in advance. We handle the booking for you, ensuring your seat in the Canter is secured without the stress.

The Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Ranthambhore – Arrival & The Ancient Sentinel

Welcome to the land of the tiger. Upon your arrival at Sawai Madhopur railway station, our representative will meet you for a transfer to your wildlife resort. After check-in and a delicious lunch, we head towards the core of the jungle—not for a safari yet, but to climb the Ranthambhore Fort.

This 10th-century fort stands atop a hill, surrounded by the forest. We explore the ruins of palaces, cenotaphs, and the famous Trinetra Ganesh Temple, where nature and devotion coexist. Watch out for the langurs (monkeys) that guard the fort! We return to the hotel for a relaxed dinner and an early night, preparing for the big day tomorrow.

Day Highlights:

  • VIP Meet & Greet at Sawai Madhopur Station.

  • Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Ranthambhore Fort.

  • Seek blessings at the Trinetra Ganesh Temple.

  • Panoramic views of the Tiger Reserve from the fort walls.

  • Buffet Dinner at the resort.

Day 02: The Jungle Safari & Farewell

Wake up before the sun! The jungle calls early. We board a Canter (Open Safari Bus) for your morning safari in the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. As the mist clears, keep your eyes peeled for the Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, sloth bears, and crocodiles by the lakes. The mix of ancient ruins and wild nature creates a scene straight out of ‘The Jungle Book’.

After the thrill of the safari (approx. 3 hours), we return to the resort for a well-deserved breakfast. We then check out and transfer you to the Sawai Madhopur railway station for your onward journey, leaving you with the thrill of the wild.

Day Highlights:

  • The Main Event: Morning Jungle Safari by Canter.

  • Spotting Tigers, Deer, and exotic birds.

  • Experience the magic of the forest at sunrise.

  • Hearty breakfast after the safari.

  • Assisted drop-off at Railway Station.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a "Canter"? Can we book a Jeep instead?

A Canter is an open-top safari bus that seats 20 people. It is higher off the ground, offering good visibility. A Jeep (Gypsy) seats only 6 people and is more maneuverable but costs significantly more and sells out weeks in advance. Let us know if you want to upgrade to a Jeep!

Which is the best zone for tigers?

Zones 1 to 5 are traditionally considered the "Core" zones with frequent sightings, but tigers are territorial and move freely. Sightings happen frequently in Zones 6-10 as well.

How do we reach Sawai Madhopur?

Sawai Madhopur (SWM) is a major railway station connected to Delhi (approx. 4-5 hours) and Mumbai. It is the gateway to the park. We will pick you up right from the platform exit.

What are the chances of seeing a Tiger?

Ranthambhore has one of the highest tiger densities in India. However, sightings depend on luck, weather, and the zone. Even if you don't see a tiger, the forest landscape and other wildlife make it worth it.

Is the Ranthambhore Fort visit difficult?

There are quite a few steps to reach the top of the fort. It requires a moderate level of fitness. If you have mobility issues, you can choose to relax at the resort instead.

What should we wear for the safari?

Wear dull, nature-blending colors (brown, beige, green). Avoid bright reds or neon. In winter (Nov-Feb), the mornings are freezing cold in the open vehicle, so bring heavy jackets, gloves, and caps. In summer, wear light cottons and a hat.
