Why We Curated This Specific Route

Most 10-day tours just loop you around Jaipur and back. They miss the real magic. We designed this route to take you deeper.

  • The Contrast: You experience the chaos of Old Delhi, the romance of the Taj, the desert heat of Jodhpur, and the cool lakes of Udaipur.

  • The Hidden Gems: We don’t just drive. We stop at Abhaneri Stepwells (a geometry marvel) and Ranakpur (1,444 marble pillars).

  • No Backtracking: You travel one way – from North to South- saving you 2 days of wasted driving time.

The Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to the Capital | Spiritual Start at Akshardham

Welcome to New Delhi. Upon your arrival at the airport or railway station, our representative will meet you and assist with a smooth transfer to your hotel. After you settle in and refresh, we begin your Indian journey on a peaceful note. In the evening, we visit the magnificent Akshardham Temple. Unlike chaotic city sites, this complex offers a calm introduction to Indian culture, spirituality, and ancient stone carving traditions. It sets the perfect mood for the days ahead.

Day Highlights:

  • VIP Meet & Greet at Delhi Airport/Station.

  • Evening visit to the grand Akshardham Temple.

  • Walk through the peaceful temple courtyards.

  • Relaxed evening to recover from jet lag.

Day 02: Old vs. New | The Full Delhi Experience

Today, you will see the two faces of the capital. We start in Old Delhi, the historic city of the Mughals. Walk through the narrow, busy lanes of Chandni Chowk and see the massive Jama Masjid. In contrast, the afternoon is dedicated to New Delhi, a city of wide boulevards and colonial history. We drive past the President’s House and India Gate, ending the day at the serene Lotus Temple and the ancient Qutub Minar.

Day Highlights:

  • Rickshaw Ride in the chaotic lanes of Chandni Chowk.

  • Visit Jama Masjid and view the Red Fort (outside).

  • Explore Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

  • Visit the Lotus Temple and India Gate.

Day 03: The Mughal Glory | Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

After breakfast, we drive to Agra, the city of the Taj. After checking in, we head straight to the monument of love. Visiting the Taj Mahal is not just about seeing a building; it is about understanding the perfect symmetry and the story of Shah Jahan. Later, we explore the massive Agra Fort, where the Emperor spent his final years looking at the Taj. We end the day at Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), a hidden gem with exquisite marble inlay work.

Day Highlights:

  • Guided tour of the Taj Mahal (The World Wonder).

  • Explore the palaces inside Agra Fort.

  • Visit the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah).

  • Sunset views of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh (optional).

Day 04: The Road to Rajasthan | Ghost City & Stepwells

We leave the plains of UP and head towards the hills of Rajasthan. This drive is special because of two curated stops. First, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, the stunning “Ghost Capital” of Emperor Akbar, perfectly preserved in red sandstone. Second, we stop at Abhaneri to see Chand Baori, one of India’s deepest and most geometric stepwells. By evening, we arrive in the Pink City, Jaipur.

Day Highlights:

  • Explore the deserted Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri.

  • Marvel at the 3,500 steps of Chand Baori (Abhaneri).

  • Scenic drive transitioning from plains to Aravalli hills.

  • Evening arrival in the vibrant city of Jaipur.

Day 05: The Pink City | Forts, Palaces & Astronomy

Jaipur is a city of color and science. We begin with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) before heading up to the Amber Fort. You can choose to walk up or take a jeep to the ramparts. In the afternoon, we explore the City Palace, which is still the home of the Royal Family, and the Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory that is still accurate today.

Day Highlights:

  • Visit the majestic Amber Fort on the hill.

  • Photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal.

  • Explore the City Palace & Museum.

  • See the world’s largest stone sundial at Jantar Mantar.

Day 06: The Holy Stopover | Jaipur to Jodhpur via Pushkar

Today involves a longer drive as we move towards the desert region of Marwar. To break the journey, we stop at the holy town of Pushkar. It is one of the few places in the world with a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Walk around the sacred Pushkar Lake and witness the chanting of priests on the ghats. We arrive in Jodhpur, the Blue City, by evening.

Day Highlights:

  • Visit the rare Brahma Temple in Pushkar.

  • Walk around the sacred Pushkar Sarovar (Lake).

  • Scenic drive through the heart of rural Rajasthan.

  • Arrival in Jodhpur, the gateway to the Thar Desert.

Day 07: The Blue City | Forts & Heritage Walks

Jodhpur is visually stunning. We start at Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and best-maintained forts in India, offering a panoramic view of the blue houses below. We also visit the white marble memorial, Jaswant Thada. In the evening, we do something different: a guided walking tour through the old Blue City. We navigate the narrow winding streets to see traditional life and the hidden stepwell, Toorji Ka Jhalra.

Day Highlights:

  • Explore the massive Mehrangarh Fort & Museum.

  • Visit Jaswant Thada (The Taj Mahal of Marwar).

  • Exclusive: Guided Heritage Walk in the Blue City lanes.

  • Visit the historic Toorji Ka Jhalra Stepwell.

Day 08: The Jain Marvels | Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur

The drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur is arguably the most beautiful in Rajasthan, passing through the Aravalli valleys. We make two major heritage stops. First, the Ranakpur Jain Temple, famous for its 1,444 unique marble pillars. Second, the Kumbhalgarh Fort, known for having the second-longest wall in the world after China. We reach Udaipur, the City of Lakes, by evening.

Day Highlights:

  • Visit the intricate Ranakpur Jain Temple.

  • See the Great Wall of India at Kumbhalgarh Fort.

  • Scenic drive through the lush green Aravalli hills.

  • Arrival in the romantic city of Udaipur.

Day 09: The Venice of the East | Palaces & Boat Rides

Udaipur is unlike any other city in Rajasthan; it is green, peaceful, and surrounded by water. We visit the City Palace, a complex of 11 palaces built over 400 years. We also visit the Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maids) and the Jagdish Temple. We end your grand tour with a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, watching the sun go down behind the hills.

Day Highlights:

  • Explore the largest palace complex in Rajasthan (City Palace).

  • Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari & Jagdish Temple.

  • Special: Sunset Boat Ride on Lake Pichola.

  • Walk through the artisan village of Shilpgram (Optional).

Day 10: Farewell | Departure from Udaipur

After a relaxed breakfast, your 10-day royal journey comes to an end. Our driver will transfer you to the Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. You leave with memories of the Taj Mahal, the deserts, the forts, and the lakes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is Fatehpur Sikri from Agra?

It is only 40 km (approx. 1 hour) from Agra. It is the most popular half-day trip. You can easily visit it in the morning and be back in Agra for lunch.

Is the road to Mathura good?

Yes, the road connecting Agra to Mathura is excellent (NH-19). It takes just 1 hour to 1.5 hours to reach. However, traffic inside Mathura city can be congested, so a small car is often better.

Are guides available at these sites?

Yes. We can arrange government-approved guides for you at Fatehpur Sikri and Gwalior Fort. We strongly recommend booking a guide through us to avoid the unauthorized "fake guides" often found at the entrance.

Can we do Gwalior and Agra in one day?

Gwalior is about 120 km (2.5 - 3 hours) from Agra. It is a full-day trip. We recommend starting by 8:00 AM to explore the Fort and Palace properly and returning by evening.

Is it safe for solo female travelers?

Yes. We specialize in safe travel. For solo female guests, we assign our most senior and trusted drivers and keep 24/7 phone tracking on the vehicle.

Can we visit Mathura and Agra in one day?

It is possible but very rushed. We recommend doing them separately to enjoy them fully. However, if you are short on time, we can stop at Sikandra or a quick temple visit in Mathura on the way back from Agra.
