Why we curated this specific route?

“The Complete Indian Spectrum.”

The Golden Triangle shows you the material wealth of India – palaces, forts, and monuments. But to understand the spiritual wealth, you must visit Varanasi (Kashi).

We curated this itinerary to bridge that gap. You start in the capital, dive deep into the intense spirituality of the Ganges, and then return to the architectural wonders of the Taj Mahal and Jaipur. It is intense, colorful, and deeply moving—a crash course in Indian civilization.

The Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to the Capital | Old & New Delhi

  • Drive: Airport Pick-up + Sightseeing.

  • Stay: Overnight in Delhi.

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport/Station, our representative meets you for a smooth transfer. We dive straight into the city of djinn. First, Old Delhi: We visit the massive Jama Masjid and take a walk (or rickshaw ride) through the chaotic, captivating lanes of Chandni Chowk. We pay respects at Raj Ghat (Gandhi Memorial). Then, New Delhi: We drive past the colonial power corridor—Red Fort (outside view), India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s House. It is a day of contrasting eras.

Day Highlights:

  • Chaos & Culture in Old Delhi.

  • Visit Jama Masjid & Raj Ghat.

  • Drive past British Colonial Landmarks.

Day 02: Delhi to Varanasi | Minarets & The Train Journey

After breakfast, we finish our Delhi sightseeing with two UNESCO World Heritage sites: Humayun’s Tomb (the inspiration for the Taj Mahal) and the towering Qutub Minar. In the afternoon, we transfer you to the New Delhi Railway Station to board your train to Varanasi. Enjoy the changing landscapes of rural India from your window. You arrive in the holy city by late night, where our driver receives you and transfers you to your hotel.

We also explore the Annapurna Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, and the sprawling campus of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The Main Event: In the evening, we head to the river ghats for the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Watching the priests perform synchronized rituals with fire lamps, accompanied by chants and bells, is a spiritual spectacle you will never forget.

After breakfast, we take a short excursion to Sarnath (10 km away). This is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. The peaceful Stupas and ruins offer a calm contrast to the city. We return to the hotel for lunch/checkout. Later, transfer to the railway station to board your train to Agra. Upon arrival in the City of Taj, our representative assists with your hotel check-in.

Day 05: The Monument of Love | Sunrise Taj & Agra Fort

  • Drive: Local Sightseeing.

We wake up early for the highlight of the trip: The Taj Mahal at Sunrise. The soft morning light turns the white marble into shades of pink and gold. It is the best time for photography and peace. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, we explore the massive Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son, gazing at the Taj. Frequently Asked Questions

Can we replace the train with a flight?

Yes, absolutely. We highly recommend it. A flight from Delhi to Varanasi takes 1.5 hours vs. 8-12 hours by train. We can adjust the cost to include flights.

Is Varanasi safe for tourists?

Yes, it is safe, but it is chaotic. Stick with your guide, avoid isolated lanes at night, and be wary of touts. Our guide will be with you to ensure a hassle-free experience.

Do we visit the cremation ghats?

We usually walk past Manikarnika Ghat (the burning ghat) to understand the cycle of life and death, which is central to Varanasi's philosophy. However, if you are uncomfortable, let your guide know, and they will route around it. Photography is strictly prohibited there.

Is the Ganga Aarti view better from a boat or the steps?

Both are unique. Watching from a boat gives you a panoramic view of the lamps reflecting in the water. Sitting on the steps (Ghats) puts you right in the middle of the energy and chanting. We can arrange a private boat for you.

Can we finish the tour in Delhi instead of Jaipur?

es. On Day 8, instead of dropping you at Jaipur airport, we can drive you back to New Delhi (approx. 5 hours) for your international departure.

What is the best time to visit?

October to March. Varanasi gets extremely hot in summer (April-June), and the monsoon (July-Sept) raises the river level, sometimes causing boat rides to be cancelled.
