Day 01: Welcome to the Blue City | Jodhpur Sightseeing
Drive: Airport Pick-up + Local Sightseeing.
Stay: Overnight in Jodhpur.
Welcome to Jodhpur! Our driver will pick you up from the airport or railway station. After you check in to your hotel and rest, we start exploring the city. We visit the massive Mehrangarh Fort. It stands high above the city and gives a great view of the blue houses below. Next, we see Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble building, and the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. We end the day walking in the Clock Tower area to see the local markets.

Day 02: The Great Wall & Marble Temple | Jodhpur to Udaipur
Drive: 260 km | 5-6 Hours.
Stay: Overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, we drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. On the way, we stop at Kumbhalgarh Fort. This fort has a huge stone wall in the Aravalli hills. Next, we visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple, famous for its amazing marble carvings and 1,444 unique pillars. We arrive in Udaipur by the evening, check into the hotel, and relax.

Day 03: The Venice of the East | Udaipur Sightseeing
Drive: Local Sightseeing.
Stay: Overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, we spend the whole day in Udaipur. We visit the grand City Palace, which looks over Lake Pichola and has beautiful courtyards. Then, we visit the Jagdish Temple, Bagore Ki Haveli, Pratap Smarak, and the quiet garden of Saheliyon Ki Bari. In the evening, we take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola. You will see the City Palace and Jag Mandir from the water as the sun goes down.

Day 04: Holy Towns | Udaipur to Jaipur via Pushkar & Ajmer
Drive: 400 km | 7-8 Hours.
Stay: Overnight in Jaipur.
Today is a long drive to the Pink City, Jaipur. To break the journey, we stop at two holy towns. First, we visit Ajmer to see the famous Dargah Sharif. Then, we go to Pushkar to visit the rare Brahma Temple and walk around the holy Pushkar Lake. We continue driving and arrive in Jaipur by the evening to rest at the hotel.

Day 05: The Pink City | Forts, Palaces & Astronomy
Drive: Local Sightseeing.
Stay: Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur is a city of color and science. We begin with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) before heading up to the Amber Fort. You can admire the Maota Lake and the intricate mirror work of the Sheesh Mahal. On the way back, we stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace). In the afternoon, we explore the City Palace, which is still the home of the Royal Family, and the Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory that is still accurate today.

Day 06: Morning Walk & Goodbye | Departure from Jaipur

Early in the morning, we take a peaceful heritage walk in the old city of Jaipur. This is the best time to see the quiet streets and local life before the city gets busy. We also visit the Govind Dev Ji Temple. After the walk, return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, we will drop you at the Jaipur airport or railway station for your journey home.

Yes! If you want to skip the 7-hour drive on Day 4, you can take a quick flight. We can drop you at the Udaipur airport and pick you up in Jaipur with a fresh car.
Is the boat ride in Udaipur private?
The included boat ride is a shared boat on Lake Pichola. If you want a private boat just for your family, we can arrange it for an extra cost.
What is the best time for this tour?
October to March is ideal. The weather is pleasant and cool, which makes walking around the big forts and taking the boat ride very comfortable.
Can we start the tour in Jaipur?
Yes. We can run this tour in reverse: Jaipur ➝ Udaipur ➝ Jodhpur. This is a great option if your flights match this direction better.
What should we wear for the morning heritage walk?
Wear comfortable walking shoes and simple, modest clothes. Since we visit the Govind Dev Ji Temple during the walk, it is best to have your shoulders and knees covered.
Is there a lot of walking in the forts?
Yes. Forts like Kumbhalgarh and Amber Fort are very large and require a good amount of walking. Please wear comfortable shoes for these days.
