Why We Curated This Specific Route
This itinerary connects the two most distinct experiences in Rajasthan: the sophisticated palace culture of Udaipur and the raw wilderness of Ranthambhore.
The “Greatest” Fort En Route: The drive between Udaipur and Ranthambhore is long. We break it up with a visit to Chittorgarh Fort—the largest fort in India. It turns a travel day into a history lesson.
Double the Luck: Wildlife sightings are unpredictable. By including two safaris (Morning & Afternoon) on Day 4, we statistically double your chances of spotting a tiger compared to single-safari trips.
Complete Contrast: You transition from the white marble architecture of the Lake City to the rugged, dry deciduous forests of the Tiger Reserve.

Can we fly out from Ranthambhore?
No, there is no airport in Ranthambhore. The nearest airport is Jaipur (3.5 hours away). However, Sawai Madhopur Railway Station is excellent and has direct trains to Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur.
What are the chances of seeing a tiger?
Ranthambhore is one of the best places in the world to see wild tigers. With two safaris (Morning and Afternoon), your chances are very high, but never guaranteed!
What is a "Canter"?
A Canter is an open-top safari bus that seats 20 people. It offers good height for spotting animals in the tall grass. If you prefer a private 6-seater Jeep (Gypsy), let us know in advance (costs extra).
Is Chittorgarh worth the stop?
Absolutely. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest fort in India. Even if you aren't a history buff, the sheer scale of the walls and the towers is impressive.
