Why We Curated This Specific Route
This itinerary is special because it combines the luxury of city palaces with the thrill of the jungle.
The “Leopard” Experience: Jawai is not a zoo or a national park. It is an open landscape where leopards live freely near villages. Seeing big cats sitting on granite rocks is a rare sight you will not find elsewhere.
The “Great Wall” Drive: The drive from Udaipur to Jawai is not boring. We stop at Ranakpur Jain Temple (famous for marble carvings) and Kumbhalgarh Fort (famous for its long wall), making the travel day full of sightseeing.
Complete Rajasthan: You get to see water (Udaipur), hills (Kumbhalgarh), rocky caves (Jawai), and the desert city (Jodhpur) all in one trip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are leopard sightings guaranteed in Jawai?
While they are wild animals, Jawai has a very high density of leopards. Sightings are very common, much higher than in big parks like Ranthambhore. You have a 90% chance of seeing one.
Is Jawai safe for children?
Yes, absolutely. The leopards here are known to be peaceful and do not attack humans. The resorts are safe and fenced.
Can we fly out of Jodhpur?
Yes, Jodhpur has a well-connected airport with flights to Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. We will drop you there on the last day.
Is the drive on Day 3 very long?
It covers about 160 km, but because we stop at Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh for sightseeing, the whole day will be active. You will reach Jawai by evening.
Can we do an evening safari in Jawai instead?
Yes. If we reach Jawai early enough on Day 3, we can do the safari in the evening. However, Morning Safaris are usually better for lighting and birdwatching.
What vehicle is used for the safari?
In Jawai, we use open 4x4 Gypsies (Jeeps) because the terrain is rocky and steep. It is a thrilling ride!
