Day 01: Arrival & The Magic of Lake Pichola
Welcome to the City of Lakes. Upon your arrival at Udaipur airport or railway station, our representative will meet you for a smooth transfer to your hotel. After checking in, take the afternoon to relax and shake off the travel fatigue.
In the evening, we head to the banks of Lake Pichola for the highlight of your trip: a private Boat Ride. As you glide over the calm waters, watch the golden sun set behind the Aravalli hills, casting a glow on the City Palace, Lake Palace, and Jag Mandir. It is a gentle, magical introduction to the city’s royal setting.

Next, we visit the Jagdish Temple to see its intricate carvings and the Bagore Ki Haveli to glimpse the lifestyle of the nobles. We also stroll through the fountains of Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maids).
In the evening, we shift from royalty to roots. We visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, famous for its puppet shows, and Shilpgram, a rural arts complex where you can see traditional village huts, live craft demonstrations, and folk dances.

On your final day, we head to the scenic outskirts. We drive past Fateh Sagar Lake before climbing the winding road to Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace). Located on a high peak, the view of the lakes and the city below is breathtaking.
Before you leave, we visit the Pratap Gaurav Kendra, a modern museum dedicated to the life and valor of Maharana Pratap. We then transfer you to the Udaipur airport or railway station for your onward journey, leaving you with memories of both the palaces and the people.

It is about a 20-30 minute drive up a hill. The road winds through a wildlife sanctuary, so the drive itself is very scenic.
What is the best area to stay in Udaipur?
For a heritage feel, stay near Lake Pichola or Chandpole. For modern luxury and quiet, stay near Fateh Sagar Lake or on the outskirts.
Is the Boat Ride included in the package price?

Can we see the "Dharohar" Dance Show?
Yes, the Dharohar show happens daily at 7:00 PM at Bagore Ki Haveli. It is excellent. Since tickets cannot be booked online in advance, our guide can help you get them on the spot (subject to availability).
Is this tour suitable for seniors?
Generally yes, but please note that the City Palace has many stairs and uneven surfaces. We can arrange for a slower pace, but some walking is unavoidable. The rest of the tour (Lakes, Gardens) is very easy.
