Hill Station, Temples & Nature

Why We Curated This Specific Route

Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan, making it a unique escape from the desert heat. We designed this 3-day itinerary to balance the natural beauty with the architectural wonders.

  • The Marble Marvel: We prioritize the Dilwara Jain Temples. While the Taj Mahal is famous for its scale, Dilwara is famous for its detail. The marble carving here is so fine it looks like lace.

  • The Highest Point: We take you to Guru Shikhar, the highest peak in the Aravalli range. Standing here gives you a 360-degree view of the green valleys below.

  • Leisure Time: Unlike packed city tours, this itinerary gives you ample time to just sit by Nakki Lake or walk through the markets, enjoying the cool breeze.

The Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Udaipur to Mount Abu | The Drive to the Clouds

Your journey begins with a pickup from Udaipur. We drive west towards the hills (approx. 3 hours). As you climb up the winding roads of Mount Abu, feel the temperature drop and the air get fresher.

Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, we head to the heart of the town: Nakki Lake. According to legend, it was dug out by the gods using their nails (nakh). Enjoy a Boat Ride surrounded by strange rock formations like Toad Rock. Later, stroll through the Mall Road market to shop for warm clothes and souvenirs.

Day Highlights:

  • Scenic hill drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu.

  • Leisure: Evening Boat Ride on Nakki Lake.

  • Photo stop at Toad Rock.

  • Walk through the bustling Market area.

  • Overnight stay in the cool hill station.

Day 02: Temples & Peaks | Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, we visit the crown jewel of Mount Abu: the Dilwara Jain Temples. These 11th-century temples are world-famous for their incredible marble craftsmanship. The ceilings are so intricate they look transparent.

Next, we visit the Brahma Kumaris Peace Park, a silent and beautifully landscaped garden. We then drive to the ancient Achalgarh Fort to see the historic Shiva temple. Finally, we drive to the very top—Guru Shikhar. It is the highest point in Rajasthan. Ring the bell at the Dattatreya temple and enjoy the panoramic view of the changing landscape.

Day Highlights:

  • Explore the intricate Dilwara Jain Temples.

  • Visit the serene Peace Park.

  • Best View: Panoramic views from Guru Shikhar (Highest Peak).

  • Visit Achalgarh Fort & Temple.

  • Relaxed evening at the hotel.

Day 03: Farewell to the Hills | Return to Udaipur

Wake up to a misty morning. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a final walk in the fresh air. We then check out and begin our drive back down to Udaipur.
